BEST OF NORTHERN THAILAND!

So we've decided to do a recap post about the things we enjoyed most in each country. Here are our bests of Northern Thailand:

• Favorite city: Thaton
• Most shocking moment: Entering our accommodation (aka: the shack with softball sized holes in it) in Phu Lang Ka
• Favorite drink: Iced Thai green tea with milk
• Least favorite drink: Thai "whiskey"
• Favorite place to stay: Old Tree's House/Thaton
• Most beautiful scenery: Chiang Dao mountains
• Favorite day: Motorbiking adventure in Thaton along the Burma border
• Favorite northern Thailand specialty: Sai Oua (delicious herbed sausage)
• Best meal: Chiang Dao Nest-Northern Thailand tasting dinner & also the meal we cooked at our Thai Farm Cooking school
• Most memorable person: Renato-Thaton guide from the Karen Hilltribe
