LAOS: LUANG PRABANG & KWANG SI WATERFALL!

We finally have a good internet connection!! This blog post has been the easiest upload out of all our posts (we are in Hanoi, Vietnam)! The internet in Laos was so painfully slow, we could not do any updates...if we did we would not have left the room!

We crossed into Laos (by land) and headed to Vientiane for 1 night. We had our first street food dinner which was amazing and our first of many beer laos. The next day we took a flight to Luang Prabang. One of the most charming and peaceful cities we've been to. The food was definitely an adventure (another post to follow)! Luang Prabang is positioned at an intersection of 2 rivers so pretty much everything revolves around the rivers. The city itself was so beautiful that we hope the pictures do it justice. (picture an old European city but add palm trees and rivers...) We spent a couple of days in Luang Prabang just enjoying the city, scenery, food, & people. Laos travel is very, very difficult and time consuming.

Our 3rd day in the city we took a trip out to Kwang Si Waterfall. The pictures will speak for themselves. We spent a day there swimming, hiking, and relaxing next to the turquoise pools that form below the main fall.

Kwang Si Waterfall...
